What to Expect From Your First Visit to our Health & Wellbeing Clinic

Jan 26, 2026

Trigger the dogWhen you first arrive at our health and wellbeing clinic in Christchurch, Dorset, you will be welcomed into our reception area and greeted by a friendly member of our reception team or by Trigger, our Head of Concierge.

Whether you’re joining a Mat Pilates class, Reformer Pilates class, Strength & Conditioning session, or our monthly Hatha Yoga class, we’ll show you where to hang your coat, leave your shoes, and help yourself to a glass of water before heading into our wellbeing class studio.

If you’re new to Bridge Health & Wellbeing, a great way to get started is by booking a Taster Class through reception. This allows you to experience our teaching style, the studio environment, and see how your body responds to the exercises.

Before joining any class, we ask you to arrive a few minutes early to complete a short health screening form. This helps us ensure there are no injuries or medical conditions we should be aware of.

Once your teacher has reviewed your screening form and had a quick chat with you, you’ll be all set and ready to enjoy your class.

How do you come back for more?

Once you’ve enjoyed your taster class, we’ll send you a link to our online booking platform, TeamUp, where you can easily book your classes. If you’re not confident with online bookings, don’t worry. Our team is always happy to help you book in.

TeamUp allows you to book your class or classes on a recurring schedule, so your spot is always reserved. If you can’t make a session, you can simply “leave” the class and use your credit within the same month for any other studio class.

All of our classes are small, with a maximum of 6 people in the studio and 5 on the Pilates reformers. You don’t need to have any fancy kit – just clothing that you feel comfortable in, and you can move freely in. Our studios are ‘sock on’ spaces, so a pair of grippy socks would be great!

If you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch. Louise and the studio team will be happy to help.
