Our physiotherapist Paul O’Connell was delighted to be interviewed recently by Beverley Poole for her Business Voices series. Beverley Poole is a Business Mentor, strategist, eLearning entrepreneur and enterprise advisor.
The ‘CAREERS’ – “What your teacher said” interviews are about people with interesting careers, who have changed career, or made their interest or hobby into a business. Beverley has a lifelong interest in careers, motivation and the reasons why we do what we do.
Paul said: “It was really interesting to talk to Beverley and reflect on my career. From graduating in Sports Therapy to a career in physiotherapy at Nuffield Health and then opening our own clinic at Bridge Health & Wellbeing, it has been quite a journey.
I always wanted to be a physio. Much as I loved playing sport, I realised that if I was going to be involved in it long term it was more likely to be on the medical side. I have been very lucky to fulfil my childhood ambition and make a difference in people’s lives through my work.”
