Proud sponsors of Christchurch Rugby Club

Jun 2, 2020

At Bridge Health & Wellbeing we are delighted to sponsor our local Dorset rugby club, Christchurch Rugby Club.

Situated by the East Christchurch Sports & Social Club on Grange Road, the club re-launched in 2019 and welcomes rugby players of all abilities.

We provide physiotherapy services for players including injury support and rehabilitation. Paul has already treated one of the players for an injury and we are certainly looking forward to increasing our involvement with the club this coming season.

Paul O’Connell, physiotherapist and co-founder of Bridge Health & Wellbeing said:

“My dad was rugby mad. So when we moved to Fordingbridge in the early 1980s he set up the rugby club there. Dad sadly passed away in 2010, but we are still involved with the club as honorary Vice Presidents. I was keen to get involved with the local rugby club when we opened our wellness centre on Bridge Street, Christchurch. I am sure my dad would be proud of us keeping the family rugby tradition alive.”

The club will be entering the competitive leagues in Dorset & Wilts for the 2020/2021 season. Meanwhile, they have been keeping busy improving the pitch and training area. You can keep up to date with the club’s activities by following their Facebook page: www.facebook.com/ChristchurchRugbyClub
