We are delighted to be opening the clinic doors in May for a free talk about hip pain by our physiotherapist, Josephine Garofalides. Jo will highlight some common causes of hip and groin pain and discuss how to manage and treat it.
Alongside her physiotherapy practice at Bridge Health & Wellbeing, Jo works as a Research Physiotherapist at the Orthopaedic Research Institute, Bournemouth University and is involved in trials for hip osteoarthritis and Robotic Hip replacement surgery.
Hip pain is a common condition in adults, especially as we get older. There are many possible causes of hip pain, including sudden injuries like strains and sprains or longer-lasting problems such as arthritis.
The event is free to attend and will take place at the clinic in Christchurch, Dorset, on Tuesday, 13th May, from 18:30 to 19:30. Jo will be answering some key questions, including:
- What causes hip and groin pain?
- How can it be treated?
- How can the symptoms be managed?
- What steps can be taken to avoid hip pain reoccurring?
Numbers are limited, so to book your space, please call 01202 473800 or email info@bridgehw.com.
If you can’t make the event but would still like some advice on hip pain, you can contact Reception or book an appointment with Jo online.
