Following a successful session earlier this year, we are delighted that our Senior Chiropractor, Aaron Coode, will be delivering another free talk on Lower Back Pain this October.
Aaron will highlight some of the common causes of lower back pain that we see in the clinic, discussing what causes them and how to manage them.
The event is free to attend and will take place on Tuesday, 14th October, 18:30 – 19:30.
Lower back pain is a very common, painful and disabling condition, affecting many of us at some point in our lives. It has been reported that it affects as much as 84% of the adult population, with 60-80% of people being affected throughout their lifetime. According to the NHS, back pain is the largest single cause of disability in the UK, with lower back pain alone accounting for 11% of the total disability of the UK population.
We can’t always be sure of the exact source of lower back pain. The soft tissues around the spine can go into spasm, and the joints at each spinal level can cause pain. Discs and nerves can also be affected, which can lead to conditions such as sciatica. Thankfully, it often responds well to treatment, and lifestyle changes can significantly impact your overall recovery.
At this informative event, Aaron will be answering some key questions, including:
- What causes lower back pain?
- How can it be treated?
- How can the symptoms be managed?
- What steps can I take to avoid lower back pain recurring and stay strong?
Please book your space at the event at Reception, as numbers are limited. Call 01202 473800 or email info@bridgehw.com.
