In 2025/2026, we are sponsoring the New Business Award

The award is open to businesses that are less than three years old (as of December 2025) and have demonstrated enterprise, vision, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit in establishing a successful new business. These inspiring businesses will be seen as role models for other new businesses.
We were delighted and honoured to win this category ourselves back in 2022, at the inaugural Christchurch Business Awards. Our first three years in business were a rollercoaster ride with some real highs and lows. The award win was a real highlight, and we felt very grateful to be a part of the Christchurch business community, which had been so supportive since our launch. We know precisely the hard work and dedication it takes to make a new business a success, and we are looking forward to being able to crown a new business winner next year.

This year’s awards are open for entries and nominations and include twelve categories, from Best Place to Work and Best Green/Eco Business, to Family Business of the Year and more. Entries are free and close on Monday, 29th December. The Awards Ceremony will take place on Thursday, 26th February 2026.
A massive amount of time and effort goes into hosting the awards, and we thank the organisers, Marketing West, for all their hard work in celebrating business excellence in our community. They recognise and reward entrepreneurial businesses that have made significant contributions to our local economy, business innovation, and community spirit.
