We are delighted to be opening the clinic doors in July for another free talk from one of our clinicians. This July, Owner & Lead Physiotherapist Paul O’Connell will be talking about knee pain. Paul will discuss common knee injuries we see in the clinic and how you can improve and manage them.
The knee is the largest joint in the body and is one of the most important. It allows us to walk, run, sprint and change direction, all while supporting our body’s weight. It takes a tremendous amount of pressure throughout our lives and, unfortunately, often starts to fail as we get older, leading to issues such as knee arthritis. It is also vulnerable to injury during sporting and athletic activities, such as Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) Injuries, Medial Collateral Ligament (MCL) injuries and cartilage tears.
The event is free to attend and will take place at the clinic in Christchurch, Dorset, on Thursday, 10th July, from 18:30 to 19:30. Paul will be answering some key questions, including:
- What causes knee pain?
- What are the common types of knee injuries?
- How can knee pain be treated?
- How can the symptoms be managed?
- What steps can be taken to avoid knee pain and knee injuries from recurring?
Numbers are limited, so to book your space, please call 01202 473800 or email info@bridgehw.com.
If you can’t make the event but would still like some advice on knee pain or knee injuries, you can contact Reception or book an appointment with Paul online.
